World of Warcraft Resources
These are some World of Warcraft (WoW) resources that I use frequently and thought you might enjoy, too! Some are useful from the start while some are better appreciated after you've developed a healthy addiction.
General Reference
- World of Warcraft Official Site - Blizzard Entertainment's site for WoW.
- WoW Forums - These can be handy if you have a question that may have already been answered, if you'd like to talk to other players, or find official information posted by Blizzard employees.
- WoW Cheat Sheet - This is a great reference to help beginners become familiar with WoW commands.
Item & Quest
- Burning Crusade Quests/Raids (flowchart) - Shamelessly yoinked from a game review posted on Slashdot. I wanted it where I can reference it quickly - hopefully you will, too.
- Allakhazam's WoW pages - My favorite quest/item/NPC lookup site. Loads a little funky due to ads sometimes, but the other qualities make up for it in my opinion.
- Thottbot - Another popular quest/item/NPC
- WoW Wiki - In addition to items and quests and NPC names & locations, this seems to have good information about reputation gains and boss battle tactics. I'm always finding new things to look up.
User Interface (UI) Mods
- CTMod - Offering a variety of basic addons and mods. Their CTRaid mod is a very common requirement if you're interested in raiding.
- Curse Gaming - A wide variety of good addons. I understand from others that they don't check their downloads for keyloggers and such, so you have to be more careful about what you use.
- Discord Mods - This used to be a great bunch of UI mods. As far as I can tell, they haven't been updated to work with the Burning Crusade expansion. Hopefully they will be revived one day.
